When the Burton Farmers Gin was rediscovered in 1986 one of the finds noted by the Smithsonian Institution was the fact that the records for the gin were still intact in the gin manager’s office. These records include financial and production information about the gin during its 60 years of operation, 1914 – 1974. The Association minutes reveal valuable history accounts and activities by the Burton Farmers Gin Association, 1913 – 1981. At this time, not all the gin records have been thoroughly reviewed or transcribed. Those records that have been transcribed are listed below.
