Festival kicks-off with ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT SHRIMP BOIL -- $25 per person; limit 300 tickets. $250 Sponsor Tables Available. Call the museum at 979-289-3378 or e-mail us at burtoncottongin@earthlink.net for tickets.
6:00 p.m. -- doors open at Burton Community Center
6:30 p.m. -- All you can eat Shrimp served
7:00 p.m. -- Live Auction sponsored by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans
Saturday - April 21 -FREE ADMISSION
Starts off with Main Street Parade and includes the Children's Bicycle Parade... Family activities and contests (bubble gum blowing, pie eating, seed pulling), Food Booths, Craft Booths, Children's Barnyard , Tractor Pull, Tours of historic 1914 Burton Farmers Gin, Tours of Wehring Shoe Shop and Cotton Warehouse, Folk Life Demonstrations, Engine Exhibits and the Silent Auction!
